The History of PINK STUFF®

All formulations used by Reinol-Janek Chemicals (Pty) Ltd in South Africa, since the inception of the company in 1982, stem from our original partners, Reinol® of Germany, and these formulations have been tried and tested successfully for well over 100 years, not only in Europe but many parts of the world.

Having successfully launched the flagship product of Reinol® in South Africa, the Original Reinol® hand cleaner, which is renowned for its’ undoubted cleaning, economy of use and care for the skin, not only in South Africa, but in many parts of the world, led to the welcome launch of the first of our excellent liquid cleaners, namely BH38 Intensive Liquid Cleaner, again using the highly developed formulation from Germany, pink in colour, and successful in Europe and the USA. It was designed for cleaning everything in the industry and in the household.

Having concentrated on the industrial market we were encouraged by the resellers to enter the retail market. We recall very clearly the many customers that would come to our factory waving empty five litre cans saying that they don’t know what the stuff is called, but that it is Pink in colour, and that “we do know that it is the finest cleaner that we have had the good fortune of coming across”.

Hence the name PINK STUFF® was born and ultimately led to the complete STUFF RANGE of products. Of course, Reinol® of Germany had a complete range of dynamic liquid cleaners for many years, all of which we at Reinol-Janek Chemicals (Pty) Ltd in South Africa started to produce, strictly in accordance with the unique German formulations.

In addition these formulations were carefully adapted to give superior cleaning results in the retail market.

What followed after the inception of PINK STUFF® Multi-Purpose Cleaner SANS 1828 was the rest of the STUFF Range, all of which carry the Reinol® logo which confirms the quality in the source of manufacture, as follows:

• Driveway & Paving STUFF™ Extra Heavy Duty Cleaner
• Toilet & Drain STUFF™ Drain & Toilet Bowl Cleaner
• High Pressure Cleaning STUFF™ Multipurpose Surface Detergent

Of utmost importance is that they are all concentrated, and can be diluted in accordance with the dilution instructions on the label, thus giving much economy, and safety of use. PINK STUFF® as such carries the SANS 1828 which states that it can be used where food is prepared or packaged, as always thorough RINSING with clean water after cleaning is recommended.
